Youth Ministry at Cas Reformed
Casnovia Reformed Church recognizes the significance of youth in the life of the church. We strive to create a safe environment in which ALL students are welcome to build relationships, explore their faith, and begin to understand their unique calling as a disciple of Christ. If you are in 6th - 12th grade we would love to have you join us! We meet every Sunday during the school year from 6:30 - 8:00 pm.
Keep checking this website for updates on events beyond just the weekly meetings! These could include retreats, corn mazes, movie nights, picnics, and other fellowship opportunities.
July 12 - 19, 2009: Mystery Trip to Kentucky. If you are going, remember to be at the church WITH YOUR CONSENT FORMS FILLED OUT at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday. Any questions before then...contact Katie.
August 2, 2009: Youth Sunday: The youth group will be leading the entire service on August 2. Start thinking of ideas and areas in which you can be involved and contribute to this worship service.
Hi! I'm Katie, and I have been the youth leader at Casnovia Reformed Church since March of 2008. I grew up in Rockford, Michigan, not too far from Casnovia! After high school, I headed to Grand Valley State University where I graduated with a degree in Health Sciences. Through a series of events and experiences in my life, I realized God was calling me to work with the hearts and minds of youth, not just their physical health. Soon after graduation I left the health care field and haven't looked back! When I am not spending time with the youth group, I enjoy being outside in God's beautiful creation, reading, attempting to cook, playing kickball, and eating Swedish Fish! I am excited and hopeful for what God has in store for this youth group.
